To celebrate 90 years since Equity was founded, your Brighton & Sussex Equity General Branch invite you to an Afternoon Tea Party with dancing from the 1920s and 30s.
Swing Patrol Brighton teachers dressed in costume of the era will lead two dance workshop taster sessions where you have a go at the Charleston and Lindy Hop!
Dress code: In the spirit of Afternoon Tea dancing or festive attire!
Please bring flat shoes if you are taking part in the workshop. Suitable for all ages and abilities. Dance workshop participation is optional. You are more than welcome to mingle and enjoy watching the workshop.
Please bring some food or drink for the afternoon tea table. Your contribution will be gratefully shared and consumed!
If you can, please donate a raffle prize. Members' spouses and partners are welcome.
Venue information:
Brighthelm Centre is fully accessible and is centrally located close to the station.
By train: Easily accessible by foot. Simply walk straight down Queens Road towards the town, to the corner between North Road and Queens Road. The walk takes approximately 3 minutes.
By Bus: The 6, 7, 22, 27 and 48 bus stops are very close to the Centre.
By car: Limited car parking spaces available which must be booked in advance and are solely for the use of the Brighthelm Centre and its attendees. Up to 4hrs £7.20.
Several other car parks are close by.
